The Visa Check Card can offer you power and flexibility.  They are synonymous with convenience, security, service and accessibility, and combine the best attributes of a credit card and your checkbook.

Check cards offer the availability of your checking account, but are eagerly accepted by merchants as if it were a credit card...but it is not.  That's because the Visa Check Card works like a credit card at cash registers, but the money comes directly from your checking account.  No credit card balances, no interest charges.  When making a purchase, simply present your check card to the cashier.  As the transaction is processed, the purchase amount is deducted from your available balance.

  • Keep your receipts and reconcile them against your monthly statement

  •  Keep your card safe and prevent damage or scratching — your information is recorded on a magnetic strip on the back of the card

  •  Memorize your PIN — do not write it on your card or in your wallet and do not give it to anyone

  • Make sure you know the number to contact your financial institution in case your card is lost or stolen.  If it is lost or stolen, contact the card issuer immediately.
